This smoothie is the ultimate detox drink that will help you start the day with a smile!

Detoxification removes toxins from your body and help you stay healthy. There are many and many drinks, both homemade or bottled, but a smoothie, from my point of view, it’s so much more satisfying!

I mixed together spinach leaves, rich in antioxidant and fantastic source of vitamin A and C, fresh coconut and its water for a refreshing energy burst, and some lime&lemon juice, which is antibacterial and super good for you in many ways ( 10 reasons why lemon juice is a superfood).

Grab your blender and in less than 5 mins, you’ll have a delicious smoothie that will make you start the day healthy, energized and guilt free!

Coconut Lime Detox Smoothie

  • 2 handfuls Baby spinach leaves
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) Lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Coconut Water (saved from a fresh coconut)
  • 2 handfuls Ice cubes
  • 2oz (50gr) Coconut, fresh
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  1. Place your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If there are any chunks left, filter the smoothie through a small colander and then serve.
