Kick-off summer season with a cool twist on a classic drink - Watermelon margarita has all the summer flavors you need to quench your thirst!

- 675 g seeded watermelon
- 240 ml tequila silver blanco, 100 percent agave tequila
- 2 tablespoon agave nectar or sugar optional
- juice of 8 limes
- 60 ml triple sec
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups ice cubes
- salt & sugar to decorate glasses
- 6 lime slices to decorate
In a food processor blend the watermelon until pureed, then strain through a sieve into a large bowl.
In a shaker or a jar, mix together ice cubes with tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Add a little sugar if desired.
Add in watermelon juice and shake all ingredients until combined.
Brush with salt & sugar a martini glass and strain the margarita in. Decorate with lime and serve immediately.
