All you need to make this delicious smoothie recipe is 4 healthy and simple ingredients: a tart green apple, one cup fresh strawberries, a crunchy carrot and the tangy juice of half lime.

Vitamin Morning Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1 granny smith apple, cored and chopped
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, stem removed
- juice of half lime
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey, optional
- ½ glass water
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients into a blender until smooth. Add agave nectar for a sweeter smoothie.
- Pour into a glass, or transfer into a bottle for a healthy energy burst on the go.
